Ride On is a joint cycle initiative between Tasman District Council, Nelson City Council, Nelson Marlborough District Health Board comprising three main programmes:

Cycle safety training to young people aged 8 to 12
- Based on NZTA/Bike NZ Level 2
- On road training with qualified cycle instructors
- Small ratio groups targeting safe urban riding skills
- Identifying preferred riding routes to and from school

Adult learn to ride courses
- Targeting those riders either new to or returning to cycling
- Basic maintenance and care of the bike
- Balance, braking and basic road safety
- Intersections and riding in traffic
Cycle skills trailer
- Modular timber cycle skills course to challenge any age group
- A unique riding experience to teach balance, vision and braking
- Perfect addition for community events and school based learning
